Every boat in Hurghada Marina seems to go to a different island. They all have white sand and clear water, but the days are not the same. Here is how to choose.
Orange Bay: the famous one
The beach from the postcards, on Giftun Island: a wide lagoon, soft sand and a lively beach club. It is the busiest island, especially at midday, but also the one most people want to see. Two snorkelling stops and lunch on board, from €22 per person.

Mahmya is the eco-beach of the Giftun National Park. The number of visitors is limited, there are proper sunbeds and shade, and lunch is served on the island. It costs more, from €80 per person plus the national park fee, but it is the most relaxed and comfortable island day.

Hula Hula, also called Paradise Beach, is a small island with soft white sand and turquoise water. The day includes breakfast and lunch on board and two guided snorkelling stops. A long, easy day at sea, from €30 per person.

Utopia is a quiet sandbank south of Hurghada. The boat stops at two reefs on the way, lunch is cooked on board, and you have time to swim and walk on the sand. From €22 per person, a good choice when Orange Bay feels too crowded.
