Hurghada Airport to Soma Bay by private car
Soma Bay is a quiet peninsula on the Red Sea, about 50 km south of Hurghada Airport (HRG), between Makadi Bay and Safaga. There is no public transport to the resorts, so a private transfer is the easiest way to get there. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name and takes you straight to your hotel door in about 45 to 60 minutes.
What is included
One fixed price per car, day or night: up to 3 people in a sedan, 4 in a minivan or 10 in a van. It includes meet & greet, help with your luggage, an air-conditioned car and 90 minutes of free waiting if your flight is late. You pay the driver in cash, in euros, dollars or Egyptian pounds. From Soma Bay to the airport, El Gouna, Marsa Alam or Luxor
We also drive from Soma Bay back to Hurghada Airport, and between Soma Bay and El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Safaga, Marsa Alam or Luxor. For your departure we pick you up in the hotel lobby; most guests leave the hotel about 3 hours before the flight.

Is there a bus or shuttle to Soma Bay?
There is no public bus to the Soma Bay resorts. Tour operators run shared shuttles for package guests, but they wait for other flights and stop at several hotels. A private transfer leaves as soon as you arrive.
